Young Living is the only company who owns farms all over the world, has partner farms that build up the local economy, and certified suppliers who only work with Young Living and uphold their standards of quality. 

 

All three of these types of farms have the highest standards in the industry, maintain the necessary requirements for sustainability, give jobs to locals at a fair wage, AND they give us the best oils there are in the world!! 

 

I’ve been to the farms and seen the distillation process. I’ve seen the labs, heard stories of batches of oils rejected because they don’t meet our standards only for the supplier to say, “Fine, I'll sell it to your competitor”. No problem for Young Living, they won’t compromise their integrity even if it would save money. 

 

Young Living is insistent on the highest quality of essential oils- from standards for the seeds that go in the ground, how and where the plant is grown, picked and handled, how it is distilled, and how the oil is packed. An example of some of the regulations include manually cutting the plant with scissors, only ⅔ of a blooming plant may be harvested, and the natural soil habitat of the plants must not be disturbed.  They hand weed and only use essential oils as pesticides.  

 

Young Living also cares about the sustainability of each species they grow. They would rather pull the most popular oils from the shelf, rather than sell something that would hurt the environment or the crop. 

 

Furthermore, they actually test every oil 3 times when it arrives in the facility and 3 times before it is bottled. That’s what I want to use on my family, don’t you? :)
